We are a member of NITIMesr (Networks, Information Technology & Innovation Management), a research and training network in European Crisis Research. NITIM is funded by the European Commission Marie Curie Research Program. The program is aimed at graduate students from different disciplines and faculties within a graduate school with the goal of training and preparing them for working in industry and research.
Our company is one of two full industrial partners within the network and within the framework of the research we focus on the usage of mobile devices in emergency networks. In addition, we now are a member of the supervisory board of the research network.
Within the framework of the research projects our main focus is on the improvement of communication between those involved in the management of crises and major incidents. A key focus is on the improvement of interoperability at different levels. Here, organizational, semantic and technical aspects are taken into consideration.
In our research lab mobile applications are developed and brought to market. We are focusing on authentication as part of secure electronic identification and a federal identification management.
